About the Founder

Elizabeth Libby Pass

For Elizabeth "Libby" Pass, the college journey is deeply personal. From her roots in Chalfont, PA, to the historic grounds of the University of Virginia, Libby has always been a trailblazer. As an undergraduate at UVA, she earned her degree in psychology and founded a club ice hockey program that continues to thrive 25 years later. While she remains an active player and coach today, her professional expertise is dedicated to a different kind of high-stakes navigation: the world of STEM and admissions for those with learning differences.

Her fascination with the student mindset led her to stay at UVA for a Master's in Sport and Exercise Psychology, but it was her time inside the admissions offices at UVA and Hofstra University that revealed her true calling: helping families find their perfect college fit. During her tenure at Hofstra, she served as the admissions liaison for the Engineering department and for PALS (Program for Academic Learning Skills), gaining deep insight into the specific requirements and departmental expectations of those programs.

For the past fourteen years, Libby served as a College Counselor for the College Planning Network, helping families across the country while raising her twin boys in the suburbs of Atlanta. During this time, she continued to specialize in supporting students within the STEM and neurodiverse communities, eventually launching her independent consultancy, Pass 2 Success, in 2026.

Libby's mission is to empower students with the tools they need to be successful in their college search and beyond. She believes in helping students navigate this transition in a way that builds confidence and self-advocacy for the road ahead. Whether she is on the ice or at her desk, Libby's approach is defined by mentorship and strategy. She brings a rare perspective to the table, combining the technical know-how of an admissions officer with the heart of a dedicated counselor and concerned parent.

Behind the Name: Pass 2 Success

In hockey, a great play starts with a strategic pass. It isn't about playing the game for a teammate; it's about putting the puck exactly where they need it to take the winning shot. I chose the name Pass 2 Success because it is my namesake, but also because it perfectly reflects my role in your student's journey.

My mission is to "pass" the right tools and insider knowledge to students so they can take ownership of their future. This is especially vital for the students I serve most: those navigating the technical rigors of STEM and those with learning differences who require a high level of self-advocacy.

Whether we are decoding the specific requirements of an engineering program or identifying the best campus support systems for neurodiverse learners, I provide the Strategic Assist. By empowering students with the right resources, I help them build the confidence to drive toward their own version of success in the college search and beyond.
